. Yes. And I'm so excited because I get to see him today.. hehehe. I can't believe it's been that long! 
I have to go to physics tutoring today too, but oh well. Considering the HSC is like real close.. makes sense.It is also Out The Window's birthday! Yes, OTW turns four years old today. Which is a shame, because soon the name will be changed. But hey.. I've had it four whole years. In that time I've grown up so much from being just a 13-year-old. It's about time.
What I'm trying to wait patiently for now is my money to go to my Paypal account. COMEOONNNNN I hope it hurries up. I want to buy my domain!
I sorta changed my mind. I think I may buy it from Websitedomains. It's the cheapest I can find, and it's in Australian dollars! So that won't be so bad. And Ohlovely.info has a good free domain hosting plan that I plan to sign up for. I'm also a fan of Lisa's, so it would be great.
I'll also be able to host people, but spots will be limited. More on that later, I guess.

Today is my host, Lyn's, birthday! So go and wish her a happy birthday!
So, as to what is up. The site.. gah! Yet again unsuccessful in another domain competition.. but never fear. I will be buying a domain with my own money soon. Yes, my own money that I actually worked for at my crummy job. I'm waiting for the money to get into my paypal account from my bank. How smelly.
On Sunday though, I am thinking of putting the site on a hiatus. A very quick one, because I don't want any last minute applications for anything while I'm in the middle of setting up my new domain. I basically have everything nicely done behind the scenes. So not to worry, you definitely won't be kept waiting more than a few days.
I plan to buy my domain from Freehostia. And as for hosting, I have about four different options, but they're all quite similar which is good.
And, really, I should be studying. But the weather is crazily hot down here in Australia, and I'm getting too damn lazy to do anything. I've really only been studying for biology. I need to pick up my English essay or something but NO.. I don't want to! So, there's exactly two weeks till my first English exam. I sorta want to smack myself. Must study. Must. Study.
So, back to the weather. After standing under my ceiling fan and staring at it for quite a while.. I decided to turn it on, knowing full well that the dust particles that have collected on the tops of its blades in the past two seasons would fly off and land in an ornated manner on top of my head.
I switched the fan on to the lowest speed, and it started making annoying noises. Which I took to mean 'I'm old, leave me alone'. But I ignored it and turned it up. Now it's on the second highest and well, not as I expected. Not many dust particles came down on me. So it's okay. I sorta wish I had an airconditioner in my room, but I'm not bothered by having just a fan. It shall do. If I get too hot I'll take a shower.
We only have one airconditioner in our house. It's in the living room, and since I'm on a desktop PC thing, I am not moving my 23 inch CRT monitor into that room along with my massive CPU and other ornamental stuff. Looks like I'll have to be ubiquitous. Anyone wanna be ubiquitous with me?
Aww, looks like it's a no. Guess I'll have to stay in the heated room of mine when I want my computer (which is.. all the time).
Speaking of all the time, I had absolutely no internet for a day and a half and I went absolutely insane. I was thinking, oh god, what of all the emails I get! Help me! WHY doesn't the damn internet work! Massive bouts of swearing accompanied by an occasional smash of my fist on my desk.
Of course it was all useless and out of my control, damn the internet service in our area. It was all stuffed anyway. But a WHOLE day. I found myself actually, surprisingly, less productive. I didn't even feel like studying not even one tiny bit, so I went and watched my brother's favourite movie with him, The Italian Job. I always thought it was stupid because my brother likes action movies that are silly, usually.
I hadn't seen the movie at all though, and when I watched it, I found it rather interesting. Even though I couldn't shut up during it, because I can't. I can't sit still either. I hate movies. It's been two years (and a bit) that I haven't seen one at the cinemas. How incredibly sad.
I don't really enjoy watching them anyway.
Well. It's 5:04pm now and quite bright. How strange. That's right.. we have daylight saving tomorrow night. We gotta wind our clocks forward an hour. All this daylight saving stuff ruins my sleep patterns big time.
Not that I have a sleeping pattern anyway. »

My Only - Goodnight Nurse
Hey everybody! Just came to tell you how I am and NO, I'm not leaving! (It's just the song!) I've been doing a fair bit of work behind the scenes and soon I will be getting a domain. I've already been unsuccessful in one of the competitions which, of course, is unfortunate. I don't have the foggiest what will happen in the others. I guess I should tight and wait, right?
For yours truly - no! I'm extremely impatient. In a way these competitions have really made me want a domain more. Of course I discussed with Jamesy about pros and cons. I mean, the more I think about it the less money it seems to be - $9.95 a year at the very least. And I've decided that I shall pull out about $15 from my PayPal account and.. later, just deposit another $500 in and my mum wouldn't notice the difference (hope she doesn't look at my bank statement).
But well, I think I shall wait for one of the other two competitions, which ends today - to see if I have won. It's probably worth the wait, but hey, this is me here. Patience is a virtue I don't have.
So with all this BTS (behind-the-scenes) stuff. I haven't updated the site - yes, I'm extremely sorry. I hope no applications are being sent because I don't seem to be receiving emails in my webmail. Well, yes. BTS I've been working on a new layout for my to-be domain. I have my eyes set on the domain, though it may not be in my hands right now!
The name isn't going to be Out The Window anymore. It's been so long - OTW turns 4 years this coming Sunday - and I just need a really fresh new start. Which is basically what's happening BTS - everything is being CLEANED. And I've cut my site size down to 15MB (before it was 40MB+). Probably that's because of all the unnecessary stuff like past layouts and site reviews and awards and gifts - they'll be going. A fair bit of content is disappearing too - the free uncoded layouts. They aren't that good, really! And a few of the games.
I'm also gonna do an affie cleanup. This whole spring-cleaning thing suits the season here in Australia. A lot of my affiliates have been inactive. I know some of you haven't, and I'll be keeping you. But if any affiliates happen to be reading this, let me know if you still want to be affies.
I know I'm giving you guys a glimpse into what's happening - maybe it's enough now! Hopefully I'll get the domain and be settled in within the next two weeks.
Which bloody reminds me. I NEED to study, big time. My first HSC exam is 2 weeks and 2 days from now. I know I'm in the holiday period now, but I've only studied a teeny bit, for Biology. I feel really bad for not studying properly yet.. but I PROMISE I'll study. I have most things nicely set up for the domain, whenever it comes. Just gonna have to install FanUpdate, because Haloscan is just stupid. Hahahha.
